With more than 20 years of experience in forging and machining, we have developed strong capabilities in producing customized forgings that meet strict technical specifications and international standards. Our facility is equipped with advanced forging, machining, and heat treatment systems, enabling us to provide reliable, high-strength components for critical applications across energy, marine, and heavy machinery industries.
To meet the increasing demand for large-scale and high-precision forgings, Heavy Forging operates one 12,000T free forging hydraulic press with a 130T fully hydraulic forging manipulator, and one 4,000T press with a 35T manipulator. These powerful systems allow us to forge ingots up to 100 tons for upsetting and 150 tons for elongation, achieving a maximum annual capacity of 120,000 tons of open-die forgings.
Our facility is also equipped with multiple forging cranes ranging from 32T to 160T, ensuring safe and efficient handling during every production step. We can forge shafts up to 20 meters in length, discs and rings up to 5 meters in diameter, and hollow cylinders up to 9 meters. All processes—from forging to heat treatment—are strictly controlled to meet relevant technical and quality standards.
To ensure every forged component meets the highest quality standards, Heavy Forging has established a comprehensive physical and chemical testing center equipped with advanced domestic and imported instruments.
Our testing capabilities include:
Mechanical testing: MTS 300KN electronic universal testing machine and 300J low-temperature impact tester.
Non-destructive testing (NDT): advanced digital ultrasonic flaw detectors, magnetic particle testing machines, and dye penetrant systems.
Chemical analysis: German direct-reading spectrometer capable of detecting 26 elements including C, Si, Mn, S, P, Cr, Ni, and Mo.
Metallographic testing: high/low magnification microscopes and full specimen preparation facilities.
All raw materials are sourced from reputable domestic steel mills using electric furnace smelting, refining, and vacuum degassing processes. For critical applications, we utilize double vacuum or ESR ingots to guarantee material purity and structural integrity.
Our 36,000 m² machining workshop is equipped with over 20 large conventional lathes, 10 CNC lathes, 5 vertical lathes, a heavy-duty gantry milling & boring machine, a 12M deep-hole drilling machine, and multiple precision machining systems. These allow us to produce flanges, tube sheets, heads, shells, and custom heavy components with high precision and surface quality.
The heat treatment department features computer-controlled natural gas furnaces, quenching and tempering furnaces, and well-type furnaces with uniform and accurate temperature control. We can perform annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering, and quenching-tempering (Q&T) processes, ensuring the desired mechanical properties for every forging.
